You can sell what you build on our software: as a hosted service, a subscription or a finished client project. You get full, modifiable source code, you put your own name on the result, and you keep what your customers pay. The one thing you cannot sell is the source code itself.
Three ways to sell it
-
A subscription platform
Run Stocky SaaS or Nexus SaaS under your brand, sign up customers and bill them on plans. Each customer gets a private workspace.
-
A service per client
Install Stocky POS, Resto, Nexus or Mentor LMS for each client, brand it, and charge for the setup, hosting and support.
-
Your own product
Build a course business on Mentor LMS, or a restaurant or retail service on Resto or Stocky POS, and charge your users.
What each licence allows
| You want to | Licence |
|---|---|
| Run your own business on it, with nobody charged | Regular |
| Sell Stocky POS, Resto or Nexus as a service or subscription, or deliver it to a client | Extended, one per project |
| Run one SaaS platform under your brand and charge your tenants | Regular on Stocky SaaS or Nexus SaaS |
| Run separate branded SaaS platforms for several clients | Extended on Stocky SaaS or Nexus SaaS, one instance per client |
| Sell courses on several domains | Unlimited on Mentor LMS, ui-lib.com only |

What you can customise
- The code
- It is unencrypted and yours to modify under every licence
- Your platform’s face
- With Stocky SaaS and Nexus SaaS, your landing page layouts, pricing and plans are edited from the admin panel
- Your customers’ branding
- In Stocky SaaS, tenants can set their own branding, theme colour and fonts, and connect their own domain
- Your prices
- You choose the plans, the prices and the payment gateways your customers use
What you cannot do
Under every licence you may not sell, lease, license or hand over the source code to anyone else, as it is or modified. A licence covers one project, so each client project needs its own.
Questions
Can I resell the software to my clients?
You can deliver a working installation to a client, and charge for your work, with an Extended licence per client project. You cannot give or sell the source code itself.
Can I charge subscriptions?
Yes. With Stocky SaaS or Nexus SaaS, you set up plans and bill your customers. With Stocky POS, Resto or Nexus, Extended allows you to sell it as a service or subscription.
Do I need a licence for each of my customers?
On the SaaS products, no: one platform serves all of your tenants under the Regular licence. If you build separate platforms for separate clients, each needs an Extended licence.
Can I run it on my own server?
Yes. See the server requirements, or ask about our managed self-hosted service.
I need something that is not covered here.
