Resto is restaurant software you buy once and run on your own server. It covers the till, the kitchen, the floor, the stockroom and the books, so you are not paying a monthly fee for each part.
What it replaces
-
The POS
A touch-first till with tables, modifiers, combos, split payments and offline sales. Orders keep flowing when the internet drops.
-
The kitchen printer
A kitchen display with tickets by station, automatic routing, and colour changes when an order runs late.
-
The food cost spreadsheet
Recipes deduct ingredients on every sale and recalculate food cost and margin per dish as prices change.
-
The delivery and ordering apps
A branded QR menu, an online store and a dispatch board, with Stripe checkout and cash on delivery.
-
The booking book
A day book with table assignment, a walk-in waitlist and online reservation requests.
-
The bookkeeping re-entry
Double-entry accounting posts itself from sales, purchases, wastage and payroll.
How a service runs on it
- Take the order. Waiters use a phone-sized app, or staff use the till. Modifiers, combos and courses are built in.
- Cook it. The ticket appears on the right station’s screen. The kitchen bumps it when done.
- Get paid. Split bills, tips and partial payments, in cash or card.
- Know your numbers. Stock goes down by recipe, and the day’s sales, food cost and wastage are in the reports.
